Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que has put in place a number of procedures and protocols to ensure the safety of our employees and guests during the coronavirus pandemic. These include:
Taking guest payments over the telephone to create contact free transactions.
Installing Plexiglas barriers to protect staff and customers
Installing social distancing measures for waiting areas both inside and outside of the restaurant
Filtering restaurant air every night with ozone to disinfect the environment
Taking and logging employee temperatures daily
Requiring all employees wear face masks
Sanitizing high-contact surfaces every 60-minutes
Taking vocal signatures on each guest transaction; sanitizing pens on outliers
Continuously monitoring hand washing and sanitation practices of staff
With state and local Stay at Home orders expiring at midnight on Sunday, May 10, Phase 1 of the State Of Kansas’s reopening plan will be in effect, which allows dining rooms to open with restrictions on seating and occupancy. At this time, given the limits of those state guidelines, Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que has decided that it is in the best interests of our guests and staff that our dining rooms remain closed for now. We will to continue offering curbside, carry out and delivery services. We will monitor and evaluate government guidelines as they are updated to determine when best to open our dining rooms.
Thank you for your continued patronage and support.
