General Summary Description:
The Office Manager serves as the point person for the administrative side of the restaurant requiring excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and prioritize their work. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are very important in handling the cash flow throughout the restaurant, processing payroll, maintaining all employee files, and auditing and recording reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required in their dealings with customer complaints as well as reporting to management. The office manager serves as the general support to all employees, management and vendors.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Handle procurement of supplies and manage vendor accounts
  • Organize and maintain personnel files
  • Update and maintain current employee and vendor contact lists
  • File all invoices
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of employee and restaurant information
  • Maintain and process company payroll
  • Audit and maintain all restaurant files, including but not limited to policy and procedure documents, new hire procedures, and equipment manuals and warranties
  • Must have working knowledge of point of sale system, maintaining up-to-date information at all times
  • Maintain up-to-date accident procedure protocols and instructions
  • Assist with processing guest and employee accidents
  • Audit, document and distribute tips
  • Audit company's purchases by reconciliation of receipts
  • Track employee vacation and benefit eligibility
  • Assist with benefits administration (medical, dental, vision, 401K)
  • Respond to unemployment cases, garnishment requests, and verification of employment
  • Audit and prepare cash drawers, change orders, and deposits
  • Distribute reports including sales, labor, shortages/overages, and any other reports requested
  • Analyze scheduled labor hours compared to actual hours worked by each employee daily
  • Maintain accurate attendance documentation
  • Assist with resolution of customer complaints and disputes
  • Keep management informed of daily personnel and customer problems
  • Provide historic reference through upkeep of office systems that are in place
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma and 2 years office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Some college and 2 years' office management experience preferred.

Licenses/Certification:
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
